After this weekend, I had to pull the April dress from my shops. I assume that most of you like it as much as I do. It is a truly beautiful dress for Easter. A favorite and bestseller. I have used up almost three bolts of fabric for this dress. The April dress was a perfect combination of fabrics that I would really love to offer you again, but I am afraid this fabric has sold out, and I have not been able to find anything else that is quite so beautiful. Once I get everything cut out, I will let you know what sizes can still be made if any, but please remember I still have it in blue (HINT HINT)
Last year for Easter Olivia requested her own APRIL dress, and since we had such a busy busy weekend, I decided to have her model it for you.
She chose a different fabric for the skirt, which was also part of this group of fabrics. I called it the baby bunny fabric. The dress still has a classic bodice, and a sash that wraps around the body and can be tied in the front or in back, depending on what you prefer. The only thing I left out was the brown ruffle at the hem, which can still be added if you would like it.
Our weekend was full of birthday parties – one at a bowling alley, one at a roller skating ring. On top of that we had an important date to go to the movies to see the LEGO movie. Yes, someone had been waiting two months to see it. Needless to say, I could barely find a minute for myself so finding this dress in her closet gave me a great opportunity to take pictures and replace the APRIL dress. I hope everyone likes it. I decided to call it the April Bunny Dress and it is available in my store right HERE. As you can see we rushed through this one, no necklace, no editing just a quick photo shoot to show off a beautiful dress, which I think is just as beautiful and perfect for the Spring and Summer months, as the April dress was.
I will start on Easter dresses this week, and I will try to get Olivia to model the blue April dress (weather permitting) sometime this week. I am slowly coming to an end of what I have to offer for Easter, but I will try and show you different colors and sizes as I finish them. HAPPY MONDAY everyone.
