Hopefully this weekend, we will be able to introduce a few more new Christmas dresses.  We are so busy with orders that it is hard to find a free moment to design something new.  So keep your fingers crossed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_button title=”NOELLE” target=”_self” color=”btn-danger” icon=”none” size=”btn-large” href=”” el_class=”

Kim, I sew with a serger and use Maxi-Lock thread. When I do use my sewing machine, I either use a knit stitch or a very long stitch and somewhat loosened tension. I own many Riley Blake knits but there is no lycra in any of them. All of their knits are 100% cotton. You do need to use a special needle with knits too.

Absolutely beautful!!! What’s the name of that fabric? Also, I have a sewing question for you. I made my granddaughter a pair of ruffle pants out of some Riley Blake red striped knit fabric and the thread is breaking and my hem is coming out and my seams are too. I’ve sewn with some knits, not many, but haven’t had this happen. This fabric has lycra in it though and I’d never sewn with that kind before. Do I need to use special thread? Can you give me tips on how you are successful with the riley blake knits with lycra? Thanks so much!
