What size should I buy?
I recommend to all my customers to stick to the size you would normally buy in the stores. If your daughter is a size 3, but the length tends to be a tad short, then ask to have a size 4 length. Just include a short note in the comment section of your order. Or you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also email me specific measurements for anything you order. Please remember I make custom clothing – custom in that I will make it according to the measurements you give me. Otherwise we adhere to the American Clothing Size Standards.
Most of my dresses, unless stated otherwise, fall below the knee. Size chart from shoulder to hem:

QUALITY OF OUR WORK
I believe in quality over quantity which is why I have a waiting period. Even on my best days, I cannot manage to sew more then two dresses at once. Thank goodness, there are now two of us sewing at Kinderkouture, but we both believe that quality is our first priority. Please do not rush us. If you would like to follow my work, please sign up for my newsletter. I take many pictures, and love to show my customers the quality of our work by taking detailed shots of all of our clothing.
The seller guarantees 100% satisfaction, however due to the nature of this business I do not authorize refunds/exchanges. The only exception I will make is to exchange a size.
If the buyer has a problem with his/her purchase from Kinder Kouture, please write me within 5 BUSINESS days of arrival date to arrange for an EXCHANGE. Any delays will result in a cancellation of this guarantee by the Seller.
Items being returned for an exchange *MUST* be unused and unworn and returned in the original packaging with tags attached. Return-shipping fees will be at the *buyers* expense.
If any constructional malfunctions occur (i.e.: elastic pops, seams undo, stitching in hem comes out), send it back to me for a free repair at no charge to the buyer. Shipping fees will be paid by seller.
• DAMAGE DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, SUCH AS STAINS OR RIPS IN FABRIC, CONSTITUTES A BREACH BY THE BUYER, AND THEREBY NULLS ALL EXCEPTIONS FOR AN EVEN EXCHANGE OR REFUND.
• I WILL NOT TAKE BACK OR REFUND ITEMS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING – SEE POLICY ABOVE.
The buyer and seller must agree on any type of cancellations. As long as an order is not late, or of poor quality or If an order has been cut, shipped or is part of a custom order, no cancellation will be accepted. Please understand that materials bought under these circumstances must be reimbursed by the seller.
All transactions will be processed through Paypal. You do not have to have a paypal account to process any type of Credit Card Payment.
Please be sure that your shipping address is correct. I will not ship to any other address then that which is listed in your payment notification. This ensures quick shipping, accurate shipping, and delivery notification.
• Domestic: USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days) is the only option available. Seller is not responsible for lost, damaged, or late packages.
• International: Priority Mail USPS.
• Made-to-order items typically take 4-6 weeks for completion, depending on the season and the item(s) ordered. If more then one item is ordered, please expect delays. February-April orders and October-December are the busiest time of year for me, so please expect a 6 week processing period. I do my very best to get all orders in the mail within 30 days, but it is not easy to predict an exact date.
• Please note: I, THE SELLER, AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGED OR LOST PACKAGES ONCE THEY HAVE LEFT MY PRESENCE AND HAVE BEEN SHIPPED TO MY CUSTOMER(S).
The seller does not guarantee shipment, nor provide insurance for any packages. All Priority Mail shipments are insured for up to $50.00. If the buyer would like to have a package insured, please note this in a conversation to the seller. The seller does not bear the burden of theft, or missing packages once the package has been delivered to the address given by the buyer in their paypal transaction.
Honestly, I would prefer to avoid custom orders. The entire process of finding fabric, patterns, and the discussions that I have with potential customers are very time consuming. I am not paid by the hour, and I have a pretty hectic schedule most days.
I do make exceptions…….If you are interested in a dress that is on our website, but you prefer fabrics from another design, please feel free to ask. As long as I am comfortable with the design, I have no problem altering it. Custom orders may take up to 6-10 weeks for completion based on how complicated an order can be. I will not copy a design from another shop. The customer can purchase a fabric and send it to me for custom orders. Please note that although custom orders are welcome, they do not have a higher priority. All details must be discussed before a Reserved Listing is established. I no longer offer monogramming.
